Nicole Civita, director of Food Resiliency Initiative at UofA's Law School Dept. of Ag, will start us off by discussing what "food security" means.
Adrianne Shaunfeld, owner of The Farmer's Table, will discuss the issues she has tackled in opening and running a cafe` based on local products .
Teresa Turk, Instructor of Sustainability at NWACC to speak regarding the differences and implications in pastured & conventional pork
Paulienne Arnold, Produce Manager and chair of the Farmer's Committee for Ozark Natural Foods, will discuss their new "Principle 6" program that highlights local products available in the store.
